Wizard World:Struggles of dimensions

Chapter 110

This description was not foreign to him, Layton’s first plane travel experience was he being detained directly at the plane core of the avatar plane, his Magia Erebia which was created was coined from his using the experience of evolving the avatar plane on the basis that the plane and the human body were similar, even in the holy grail war during his fight with his other self he had been privy to a front row seat to the creation and evolution of a plane that had a vital and close connection to himself.

Layton’s thoughts started running at high speed as the peculiar environment started to take effect on him, he thought about the various martial art practices he understood, the immortal system which was based on mana, the qi system which was based on internal forces, and various other fantasy power system that had a similarity to the martial civilizations system, whether it was mana or internal forces the peculiar energy all inseparable from the body and soul, even ghost practitioners who used yin qi used.

Because of his previous experiences Layton quickly entered a suitable state, he didn’t focus on the appearance of his body or bother trying to find a connection with his body and soul he just directly felt his body and soul, visualizing his body to be the physical part of the plane his soul the hidden mysterious side or inner world, his vitality the line that blurs the reality between the two and then his psionic as the plane source and his rune as the plane core, although not perfect it was the most suitable form for Layton at the moment.

Once this was achieved Layton began to optimize himself based on the martial arts methodology, he knew although he could make reference to the words he could not fully follow them after all he was still essentially a wizard not a practitioner of martial arts and so he did not bother following the martial methodology practice of absorbing energy from the surroundings, in terms of energy exploration mining and discovery no civilization was as versed In this aspect than the wizard civilization, in addition Layton did not need more energy his psionic was already at its peak volume any increase and he would break through to a legend, he could break through at any point just by using his rune to connect with the soul realm dimension and absorbing the endless soul energy and information that abounded in it, of course Layton would not be so stupid to do this, one of the reasons he hardly went into the soul realm was because the energy and information in it was too much, once he went in Layton was not sure if it would be himself that walked back out, the chaotic information would confuse and twist his soul and mind, making him either mad or turning him into a chaotic concept and pool of psionic energy.

The martial arts methodology was not only for the absorption of foreign energy to temper the body it also involved the use of the illusory will and intent to subtly temper and transform the body to a form closer to the soul and could subtly feedback and strengthen the illusory will, but Layton found he did not need this process, Makarov had already covered that aspect, the training he received in Makarov’s place already created a very good connection with his soul and body as long as his soul changes the body would simultaneously produce similar changes giving him the best carrier for his soul, in fact in regard to certain aspects Makarov’s training was better than the one he just figured out based on the martial arts methodology one was that Makarov body and soul merger was more biased towards attributes and elements, once started it was basically without danger and was a passive act, the elements the user is good at would automatically temper and change the basic aspects of the user’s cell making it more adaptable to the attribute and stronger regardless of the attributes used, while the martial arts methodology process was not great in the passive aspect, it was mostly an active act to increase to temper the body of course this also had some advantages such that in terms of control exploration and subtle overall changes of the body the martial arts methodology was unmatched.

Although Layton did not need this process he referred to it to make some subtle changes and upgrades to his body, which brought him some subtle changes the relationship between his body soul and spirit were very much closer so much so that they were now indistinct, he could convert his psionic to life force, his life force to physical strength and he could also do the same in reverse.

The change brought by this was not much but fundamental Layton found that his psionic was further controlled, there was only so much ones will could do and as a stage 1 individual Layton’s will was not in his full control but now with the enlightenment of the martial arts methodology, the use of psionic was instinctive and easier to use the control of his body and domination of his instincts further increased the control and use of his psionic, an example of this was that as long as his psionic was present even without its use Layton was able to use a rudimentary form of martial intent one much like his natural conquerors haki except this one did not make use of much psionic, it was mostly based on the natural presence of the psionic in his mind which was closely intertwined with his body and his abundant life-force a sort of reduced version of Layton’s move where he used a lot of psionic to violently convert his emotions into an elemental attack to kill the ying long created by Tang qi during the holy grail war.

The difference was that Layton did not need to consume much psionic to urge the intent, he didn’t even need to purposely urge it his every move would naturally exude and infect the elementary characteristics of the emotion on his opponent, of course this would be in the form of an illusion but it only needs a thought from Layton and a surge of psionic to make the boundary between reality and illusion blurred.
